My name is Romano Lekatompessy. I’m a allround creative designer and photographer from the Netherlands, with Moluccan and Dutch roots.

Born in Barneveld in 1991, I graduated as an Allround DTP Specialist and Graphic Designer in 2015. A year later, I picked up a camera, and photography gradually became a second profession.

Since then, I’ve been working across both design and photography. I like the combination of the two — designing something from scratch, but also stepping behind the camera to capture people, places and moments.

Over the years, I’ve worked on a wide range of creative projects, from branding, campaigns and printed materials to portraits, events, documentary photography
and social content.

I’m particularly drawn to people, culture and stories that feel real. Whether I’m designing or photographing, I’m always looking for something that feels natural and true to the subject.

This is what I enjoy doing: creating, capturing
and telling stories through images and design.
